Accessibility statement
We have written this blog using clear, simple language. Our goal is for every reader, regardless of technical knowledge, native language, or ability, to understand the ideas we share. Each concept is expressed in short, direct sentences. When we need to use a technical term, we define it right away.
We chose the Lexend font because research shows its wider letter spacing and distinctive shapes help many readers, including those with dyslexia or attention difficulties, read faster and with better comprehension. Studies by the font’s creator, Bonnie Shaver-Troup, and validated by Google Fonts and academic research, report up to 20 % improvement in reading speed without loss of understanding compared with common fonts.
We also follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) for colour contrast and readability. WCAG recommends a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text. Sufficient contrast helps people with low vision, colour blindness, or those reading on bright screens.
By combining plain language, a reader-friendly font, and high-contrast colours, we aim to make this blog clear, comfortable, and inclusive for as many people as possible.
